Answering was never the hard part.
Every AI can answer now, and every AI can make a file. The hard part is the call itself: two options that both look reasonable, a commitment made on a Tuesday, and a room six months later asking why. By then the person who objected has left and the conversation is forty screens up in a chat that no longer exists.
Wavn’s founder hit that wall building this company. Real decisions, real money, made alone, with nothing to argue them against and no record afterwards that survived the question. That is the problem Wavn is built on, and it is the one we are willing to be judged on.
Four positions, and what each one costs.
A single confident answer is the most dangerous thing an AI can hand someone with money on the line, because it hides its own uncertainty. Where the stakes are real, Wavn separates what it is sure of from what your own material does not support.
The objection you overruled is the first thing you will want to reread in three months. Dissent is kept forever, and the record never tidies itself into agreement after the fact.
Capable people stall because nobody shows them the next door, not because they lack judgment. Naming the next step is the work, so Wavn names it instead of waiting to be asked.
A promise in the product ships with the code that keeps it, or it does not ship. When something is not known, the product says it is not known. That rule costs us features and it is not up for discussion.
If it is on the log, it is live.
Every release is published on the log with a date. If it is listed there it is running; if it is not listed, we do not claim it. Nothing is called coming soon and no door is drawn before it opens. The rules the product holds itself to are written out in full on the principles page, refusals included, which is the half that matters when you are relying on it.
Wavn is an AI in its own right, not a chat window onto someone else’s model. How it pushes back, when it refuses to guess and what it holds on the record are Wavn’s own. Several engines run underneath so no one provider owns the answer, and a model of Wavn’s own, trained on Wavn’s own material, runs the free plan. Every company that touches your work is named on the sub-processors page, with the country it sits in.
The product is young. The standard is not.
