What is Wavn, in one line?
The deciding place. You bring the call, you talk it through, you decide, the reasons stay, and the work the decision demands comes back as finished files.
How is this different from the AI I already use?
Other tools answer and forget. Wavn offers you the call when the conversation settles one, delivers the finished thing, and remembers why. The decision you lock today is still there in a year with its reasoning, its dissent and its revisit date, which is the part every chat window loses.
How does Wavn turn a conversation into a decision?
You do not have to go looking for a button. When a conversation actually settles something, Wavn says what it heard and offers to record it - and you can always say it is not a decision. Taking the offer writes the call with what was argued against it and what is still open. It proposes; you decide.
What does it cost?
Free to start: the whole deciding place, conversations uncounted, and a small monthly build allowance. Paid plans, from $20 a month, buy more building. The numbers are on the pricing page and in your settings, and they are the same numbers.
How do I get in?
Make an account and start free. No card at the door.
Is there a mobile app?
There is nothing to download, and nothing missing. Wavn runs in the browser and installs to a phone’s home screen from there, its own icon, opening full screen with no browser furniture. What you get on the phone is the same product, not a reduced one: every room, every argument, every locked decision and every build, because each face is built and proven on both.

What happens when Wavn is wrong?
You are the one who decides, always, so a wrong answer is a wrong input to your judgment rather than a wrong action taken on your behalf. Wavn never locks a decision itself. Where it could not read something it says so instead of showing you a blank, and “no voice can back this” is a first-class answer rather than a failure. The rules it holds itself to are written out on the principles page, refusals included.
Why would I trust an AI with a decision that costs money?
You would not, and Wavn does not ask you to. It names what is contested and what nothing supports, and then stops. The lock is your act and is recorded as yours. What it gives you that a confident single answer cannot is what was said against your own leading view, kept in writing, so the reasoning is auditable months later by someone who was not in the room.
What happens when a build fails?
You get what it had: the partial work, the sources it found, and the wall it hit, named. No silent failures and no empty rooms. “Nothing was produced” is not an answer Wavn is allowed to give.
It failed, but I still got a file. Which is it?
Both, and it is working as designed. A job stopped early by a guard (cost, time or rounds) still hands you whatever real files were finished before it stopped. The card stays red and the message says it stopped early and saved what was finished. A salvage does not spend your allowance. A broken promise is never billed as a delivery.
Wavn never answered me.
A reply that dies mid-sentence is recorded, not swallowed: you get a line saying the reply never finished rather than a hanging cursor. Send again; the next message is a fresh attempt. If an engine is refusing work, Wavn routes around it rather than queueing you behind it.
What does locking a decision actually do?
It turns a conversation into a record: what was decided, why, what was contested, who objected, and when to look at it again. From that moment it is memory rather than a message, and it survives the chat it was made in. See the record.
What happens to the objection I overruled?
It is kept forever, stored with the decision and shown on request. It is the first thing you will want to reread in three months, and the record does not tidy itself into agreement after the fact: contested stays contested, open stays open.
What is a revisit date?
A call worth checking again carries one. On that date the decision comes back to you against what actually changed, and you either confirm it or re-decide with the old reasoning in front of you. Nothing rests on anyone remembering.
Can I object to a decision after it is locked?
Yes. A locked call carries a challenge rail: you add the objection, it sits open against the decision, and settling it is its own recorded act. Settled challenges do not vanish; they move out of the open list and stay on the record.
The project’s decisions log shows fewer rows than I expect.
The log lists decisions that live in that project. A call moved to another project, or one made in a loose chat that was never moved in, is on the record but not in that log. The full record is at the record.
Does it really finish things, or write me a plan?
It finishes things. Spreadsheets, documents, decks, PDFs, pages and researched reports come back built, and checked before they reach you.
Can it build me an app?
Yes. Describe it and watch it built in front of you: a booking page, a calculator, a form that captures, a guestbook that keeps names. You change it by talking, and you can put it online at a public link. Where an ask needs something no single page can truly do yet, Wavn says so and offers the version it can build for real.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe what you want in plain words, in any of nine languages. The code exists and is one tab away for whoever wants it, and invisible for whoever does not.
Does it keep working if I close the laptop?
Yes. The job runs in a back room and finishes whether you are watching or not. You are told when it is delivered.
It says I have reached this month’s image limit and I do not think I have.
The count is per calendar month and resets on the first. Images from a job that failed and salvaged do not count. If your settings and the message disagree, the settings number is the one to trust and we want to hear about it.
Can it read my own files?
Yes. Attach them to a message. Wavn reads images, PDFs, spreadsheets, documents, presentations, text and data files, and can build something new out of them. Anything it cannot read, it tells you.
Where does my material go?
Into the project you put it in, and nowhere else. Wavn reads your material only inside that project. Moving a conversation in is how you say yes; moving it out is how you take it back.
It answered without using my document.
Check which chat you are in. A loose chat, not in a project and not taught a room, is grounded on nothing, by design. The move into a project is the consent; without it Wavn will not reach for your material. If you are in the right project and it still did not use a source, it may genuinely have had nothing on that question, which Wavn will say rather than pretend otherwise.
My answers carry a line saying sources were "only partly reachable".
Wavn searches your material two ways at once. When one of the two is briefly unavailable the other answers alone, and it tells you rather than quietly returning a thinner answer. Nothing is lost and the next message retries. An unknown is drawn as unknown, never as empty.
A document is stuck on "reading it".
Large or scanned files take longer, and a file Wavn genuinely cannot open is reported rather than left spinning forever. If it sits there past a few minutes, tell us and include the file type.
A check came back almost entirely "could not check".
The check verifies each factual claim against a source Wavn finds independently. A near-zero score usually means the claims are not the kind that have public sources: internal numbers, private terms, forward statements. That is a finding about the document, not a failure of the check, and it is reported as such rather than scored as false.

Is my work used to train the AI?
Only Wavn’s own model is ever trained on customer work, and every third-party engine is barred by contract from training on it. Wavn trains on the free plan only, and only if you switch it on in Settings under Privacy; the switch starts off. Chat text only: files and mail are never used. Paid accounts are never used for training and have no switch, because there is nothing to decide. The same rule in full: sub-processors, privacy, terms.
Who else sees my work?
Every company that touches it is named on the sub-processor list, with what it does, the country it sits in, and what reaches it. That page is the current list and a new one appears there before it starts processing, never after.
What models and engines power Wavn?
Several, and you never pick one. Wavn’s own code routes each job to an engine, and the routing is the product rather than a setting you tune. Fallback is automatic: if the house an engine runs on is unreachable, the job moves to another and still lands. Work stopping because a vendor had a bad hour is not an outcome Wavn accepts. A model of Wavn’s own runs the free plan. Every engine is named on the sub-processor list with the country it sits in. OpenAI is not among them and will not be.
Can I export my decision records?
Yes, and the whole account with them. One request returns a single JSON file: your decisions and their drafts, the chats and messages behind them, projects, notes, tasks, memory and its sources, mail, calendar, and every file you uploaded listed by name and size. It is yours at any time and for thirty days after you close the account, and you can delete any of it yourself. Two things it leaves out, and says so in the file rather than quietly: other people’s words in a shared room, which are theirs and not yours to take, and the bytes of uploaded files, which download one by one instead of becoming a hundred megabytes of gibberish. There is no PDF or Word export of a decision record. What travels instead is a share link: a locked decision opens for someone with no account, showing the call, its reasons and what was contested, and stays revocable by whoever shared it. Files a build made download as the real files they were built as.
What if Wavn shuts down? Do I lose the record?
Export is available for the life of the account and for thirty days after it ends, and the same window applies if we ever stop offering the service: we would give at least thirty days’ notice and refund unused prepaid fees. That commitment is in the terms rather than in a blog post, which is the difference between a promise and a plan.
How is it secured, and what are you not certified for?
Encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access control at the database so a query cannot reach another account’s rows, least-privilege access for staff, and logged administrative access. Wavn holds no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification and does not claim one, and no independent penetration test has been conducted yet. Both are stated on the security page and in the data processing addendum, including what is not done.
Can I use it for something regulated?
Not as the deciding step. Wavn is decision support, and it must not be the sole basis for a medical, safety-critical, credit, employment, housing or law-enforcement decision. Where you work in a regulated field the professional duties stay yours. The full list is in the acceptable use policy.
Is this legal or financial advice?
No. Wavn is not a law firm, an accounting firm, an investment adviser or any other regulated professional, and no output is professional advice. It is a tool for people who are those things, or who are advised by them.
Can I connect my calendar and my other tools?
Yes, and every connection carries a rule: it is either yours alone or your team’s, and Wavn never touches anything it did not create: it manages its own items and cannot edit or delete something you or anyone else made. Which services are connectable is shown in the product.
If I connect a calendar, can Wavn read what is in it?
For a private calendar Wavn asks only for your availability, never for what is in the entries.
I disconnected a calendar and my events are still missing.
Disconnecting stops Wavn reading it; it does not undo anything already placed. Items Wavn created remain yours to keep or remove, and items it did not create were never touched.
I revoked an API key but the tool still works.
A revoked key stops new authorisations; a session already open can run to its end. If a tool is still working minutes later, revoke again and tell us: that is worth investigating, not waiting out.
I made a key and the address disappeared before I copied it.
A key is shown once and never again, on purpose. Make a new one and delete the old.
A reminder arrived at the wrong hour.
Wavn schedules against the timezone your account is set to. If you have moved, update it in settings and future reminders follow; ones already scheduled keep the hour they were set with.
Why did nobody tell me it finished?
Notice follows the channels you have turned on. If none is on, the work is still delivered and waits for you. Two notices for one event is a fault worth reporting; none, when a channel is on, likewise.
What exactly does the free plan include?
The whole deciding place (conversations, the argument, locking, the record and revisits) is uncounted. What is metered is building. Your settings show the allowance and what is left, and those are the same numbers the product enforces.
What happens when I reach my monthly limit?
The deciding place stays open. Conversations, the argument, locking, the record and revisits are uncounted on every plan: only new builds wait. Everything already built stays yours, and a job that stopped early and salvaged never spent the allowance to begin with. The counter is a calendar month, not a rolling window: it resets on the first, UTC. And the message you get is not “limit reached”: it names your plan, the cap that plan includes, how much of it you have used and the exact date the counter turns over, because a refusal that cannot say what rule stopped it is not an answer. I paid and my account did not upgrade.
It will, and if it has not within a few minutes tell us with the email you paid under. Payment and upgrade are separate steps and the second can lag the first; nothing is lost in between, and you are not charged twice for the wait.
Can the price change under me?
Prices change forwards, never backwards. A change takes effect no earlier than your next billing period, after notice, and it is on the pricing page before it binds anyone.
Do you hold my card details?
No. Payment is handled by a payment processor and full card numbers never reach Wavn.
Somebody mentioned Founding Members.
A small number of people were invited to use Wavn early on different terms. It is not something to apply for and it is not on offer. Your account works the same way regardless.
Can my team use it with me?
Yes. The Team plan seats two or more people, and collaboration is where Wavn is being built out right now: shared projects, a shared record of the team’s decisions, and work anyone can pick up. Decisions your team locks belong to the team, with the reasons attached, whoever made the call.
Can my colleagues see my private connections?
No. A connection marked as yours is your own and nobody else on the account can read it, including whoever set the account up. A connection marked as shared is shared on purpose.
I switched accounts and still see the other account’s work.
That was a real fault and it is fixed. If you ever see it again, it is a serious one: tell us immediately rather than working around it.
The refusals matter more than the features when you are relying on it. All of them are enforced in code, and the full text is on the principles page.
It never decides for you.
Wavn pushes back as hard as you ask it to and then stops. Locking a decision is your act, recorded as yours.
It never invents a screen, a command or a feature.
If Wavn does not know, it says so. It will not describe something it is not certain exists.
It never draws an unknown as an empty.
If it could not read something, it says it could not read it, rather than showing you a blank you would read as “nothing there”.
It never says done when it is not.
When Wavn confirms something is done, it is done, checkably. When it says something has not happened, it has not. Words and reality do not drift apart on a screen.
It never reads what you did not put in front of it.
Wavn reads your material only inside the project you put it in.
It never tidies the record into agreement.
Contested stays contested, open stays open, and dissent is never deleted.

How early is this, honestly?
Early, and we do not dress it up. Everything shipped is dated on the log, the refusals are on the principles page, and what is not built has no handle on it. The product is young; the standard is not.
